The Catalan Water Agency (Agència Catalana de l’Aigua -ACA-) is the public company of the Generalitat de Catalunya (government of Catalonia) that is responsible for water planning and management in accordance with the basic principles of the Water Framework Directive. Created in 2000, the ACA promotes its action plan to guarantee, now and in the future, the supply, availability of water and its quality at source (groundwater and surface water). This action plan also promotes the sanitation of wastewater and the protection and conservation of water bodies and associated ecosystems. The Catalan Water Agency (ACA), attached to the Department of Territory and Sustainability of the Generalitat de Catalunya, arose from the merger of the Sanitation Board and the Water Board.

At the top you can watch a sample of the audiovisual strategy we produced for the Media Center of the Catalan Water Agency. The purpose of this group of videos was to communicate the cycle of actions that ACA carried out between 2019 and 2021 in Catalonia.
